Project
Digitisation of Work Health and Safety Unit for Brightspace LMS
Delivered by
Vidversity
Overview
Holmesglen TAFE engaged Vidversity to transform a traditionally delivered Work Health and Safety (WHS) unit into a fully self-guided online learning experience to be delivered via their Brightspace LMS.
The objective was clear: eliminate the need for teacher-led instruction while ensuring the learning remained engaging, practical, and aligned with assessment outcomes.
The Challenge
The timeline was tight - just four weeks from handover to completion. The only learning assets Holmesglen could provide were a series of PowerPoint slides outlining the core content.
The brief was to convert this material into a standalone digital learning experience that offered:
- Strong theoretical grounding
- Clear application to workplace scenarios
- Assessment readiness
- A seamless learner journey without teacher facilitation
Our Approach
Working closely with Holmesglen, Vidversity built an end-to-end solution within the Vidversity platform, integrated with Brightspace.

The Result
Holmesglen now has a high-quality, fully self-paced WHS unit live in Brightspace - one that is engaging, assessment-aligned, and reduces the teaching load while maintaining educational rigour.
"Working with Vidversity was seamless and incredibly efficient. We needed to transform a full Work Health and Safety unit into an engaging, self-guided online learning experience - and all we had to start with was a PowerPoint deck.
Within just four weeks, the team delivered 27 integrated video modules that covered both theory and real-world application, complete with embedded quizzes to prepare students for assessment. The result is a polished, effective unit that sits neatly within our LMS and no longer requires teacher-led delivery.
Natalie Wieland's expertise in teaching and learning really brought the content to life. Vidversity's platform and approach made the learning streamlined, engaging, and learner-centred. We're thrilled with the result."
